1)Sri.Namdev Nimgade, a close disciple of Dr. Ambedkar's circle of friends, meets Dr. Ambedkar at his residence one fine evening.

 2)Namdev understood that Dr. Ambedkar was in a slightly nervous and shocked state,

 "What happened, why are you like this today?" He asks.

3)The Dr Ambedkar replied, "Yesterday I met with an accident. 

4)I was on my way to buy a book and there was an accident; it was raining heavily.

5)Due to this, the roads were slippery. The accident happened when the car was running like that, the car skidded and caused an accident.

6) Somehow my caroti (driver) drove very skillfully and brought the car into his lane and saved me from that danger. 

7)I thanked and appreciated him. I also gave a small amount as a gift. 

8)What if that accident happened and if I died?" like this,and whoever hears what he says, how much the doctor desires his life; Or we rush to express our opinion about how scared he is of death. 'What if I had died?'

9)Dr Ambedkar added another. 'I will die as a Hindu! That is my concern!' He has said so.

10) What a profound principle to say that if such an accident had occurred and he had died, he would have died as a Hindu.It shows the determination and the determination, if not the ambition, that he had in putting his words into practice. 

11)"I am born as a Hindu at birth. It is not my will, nor choice; but I am certain that when I die I shall not die as a Hindu!" .
