Rape of a teenage girl who came to her grandmother’s house in Nawabganj
Police arrested the accused Lucknow
A young girl from the area raped a girl who had come to her grandmother’s house in Nawabganj police station area. Due to fear of public shame, the girl did not inform her family. When the victim came to know that she was five months pregnant, she complained to the police. The police have arrested the accused.
According to the one-year-old girl, a resident of Rasoolabad in Kanpur Dehat, she had come to the house of her grandmother, a resident of Nawabganj police station area, a few months ago. It is alleged that during this time, Akash Chaudhary, who lives in the neighbourhood, had physical relations after finding himself alone at home.
Nawabganj Police has taken gangster action against the accused of gang rape of a minor. Police station in-charge Dinanath Mishra said, the accused had gang-raped a girl from the area with the help of a machete in August last year. Bhala Singh alias Suresh Chandra has been made the gang leader. There is a case of rape in another case also. His associates Bablu and Suraj have been made members of the gang.

Upper caste Hindus beat up Dalit youth in Tamil Nadu
Tiruppur: A 19-year-old Dalit youth was allegedly beaten up by a group of upper caste Hindus when he tried to attend the annual day function at his former school in Amaravatipalayam near Tiruppur city. He is currently admitted to Tiruppur Medical College Hospital with serious internal injuries on his chest and back. The two people have been booked under three sections of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and some other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The name of the injured person is S Shyam Kumar. He claimed that he was brutally attacked by his former classmate and his relative near the government-aided school from where he had completed Class 8. A case was registered at Nallur police station in Tiruppur city on Sunday. The accused is 25-year-old Karthik, a former classmate of Balasubramaniam and Kumar. Kumar told TNIE that he belonged to the Scheduled Caste community (SC-A) and the attackers were from the Hindu community. Narrating his ordeal, Kumar said, “Last Friday, I took half a day leave and reached my former school in Amaravatipalayam to attend the annual day function. Balasubramaniam, a relative of Karthik, questioned my presence near the school. When I expressed my intention to participate in the festival, he used caste based abuses and kicked me. He went and informed Karthik and Karthik reached the spot.”
“He, along with Balasubramaniam, started beating my stomach, chest and neck. I kept screaming in pain but they continued the attack. They claimed that they felt that my presence near my school was unnecessary and that they were at the annual day function. could not tolerate my participation. When I protested, they claimed that people from my community should not be present in their locality or school. Later, my friends rescued me from the spot. I have been in Tirupur for the last few days. Admitted to the Medical College Hospital. I have an internal illness and injuries near my chest and back. The doctors have promised a speedy recovery, but I am worried about my condition after being discharged,” he added.
After failing in Class 12, Kumar worked in a real estate promotion company for two years. “My mother Saraswati is a daily wage laborer in a textile company and my father is a farm labourer,” he said. Speaking to TNIE, K Bothan, president of Aadi Tamilar Jananayaga Peravai, said, “There is a general dislike for SC communities in these areas. If a Dalit wears a nice shirt and rides a bike in his villages, people from the dominant community get upset. Furthermore, most of the students in government aided schools are from the dominant community.
This is the main reason behind the attack on Kumar. A case was registered against these culprits because they had confessed to using casteist slurs. Since they are influential persons in the area, they are still roaming free. “He may have influenced the police to avoid arrest.” Assistant commissioner (Nallur range) K Nandini said, “We have identified the culprits and filed an FIR against them. Since we are busy with election duty, we have not been able to arrest him yet. He will be arrested soon.”

Rape incident with a minor girl in Hapur, UP!!
A case of rape of a minor child of Dalit community has come to light in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here Junaid has been accused of holding a minor hostage and raping her for hours. When the victim’s father was going to the police station to complain about the incident, Arif and Jamiruddin stopped him and pressurized him to hush up the matter for Rs 2-4 lakh. The police have started investigation by registering an FIR against a total of 3 accused.
This case is of Hafizpur police station area of Hapur. Here on March 22 (Friday), the father of a 14-year-old Dalit girl lodged a complaint with the police. In the complaint, he told that on March 21, 2024, at around 3:30 pm, his daughter had gone to dry clothes. Meanwhile, Junaid, son of Imam Khan of his own village, reached there. He grabbed the girl’s face, picked her up in his lap and took her with him to the basement of Jamiruddin’s dairy. Here he took the victim hostage and raped her.
During this time, some children playing nearby heard the screams of the victim. When they reached the spot, Junaid ran away from there. The victim reached home and told her family about the incident. The victim’s father decided to report the matter to the police and left for the police station the next day. On the way he met Jamiruddin and Arif of the village. They stopped the victim’s father and put pressure on him to hush up the matter on the spot, calling it a small matter.
The accused offered Rs 2-4 lakh to the victim’s father to keep his mouth shut. When the complainant refused to compromise, Jamiruddin and Arif abused him by using caste related words. Not only this, both of them also threatened to eliminate the entire family of the victim. The accused said, “Well, Dalit girls are only for fun.”
The victim’s father described himself as extremely scared and demanded strict action against the accused. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered an FIR against Junaid, Jamiruddin and Arif. Apart from sections 376, 452, 342 and 506 of IPC, action has been taken against all of them under SC/ST and POCSO Act.

Where Sudama Devi’s wife Savru Kori filed a complaint in Shivgarh police station and said that on March 25, Sudama’s son Sanjay was standing on the roadside in front of the house and protested against a minor collision with a truck passing by.
It is alleged that seeing the truck driver protesting, Santram Verma Sut Ram Avtaar Verma started abusing and beating him. Meanwhile, all the people of Santram Verma’s house gathered and started abusing and beating him. According to the complaint, Sudama Devi told that Sapna, Kiran, Savru and the applicant, who came to rescue her, were beaten and abused by the bullies who entered the house. Police is engaged in investigation on the basis of complaint
