Mass rapist comment: K’taka HC quashes PIL against Rahul Gandhi
Bengaluru, Oct 21 (SocialNews.XYZ) Karnataka High Court has dismissed the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in connection with the alleged derogatory remarks against former MP Prajwal Revanna.
After dismissing the case on Monday, the High Court has also fined the petitioner with Rs 25,000.
The division bench headed by Justice N.V. Anjaria and Justice K.V. Arvind passed the order. The All India Dalit Action Committee has filed a petition against Rahul Gandhi.
"We are not talking about the merit and eligibility of Rahul Gandhi's speech. The subject should not be a matter under the Public Interest Litigation," the bench opined while passing the order dismissing the petition.
Rahul Gandhi during the Lok Sabha election campaign while delivering the speech made alleged objectionable remarks. Addressing a huge gathering referring to the sensational sex video scam stated that “Prajwal Revanna is a mass rapist” and further alleged that “Prajwal Revanna has raped 400 women”.
The Dalit Action Committee has filed a petition against Rahul Gandhi that he had humiliated and hurt the dignity of women from the Hassan district. The committee had also claimed that the statement was unconstitutional.
It was alleged that the speeches were made by Rahul Gandhi at Shivamogga and Raichur on May 2 which went to polls on May 7.
Chi Na Ramu, who is national president of the All India Dalit Action Committee, alleged that until now no proof of any rape had been found, nor were any complaints made by the women about what Rahul Gandhi had claimed.
Chi Na Ramu asked for action to be taken against Rahul Gandhi as per law and demanded that Rahul Gandhi should apologise for making the statement about 400 mass rapes.
The counsel had argued that Hassan was a small city and people were affected by the “hate speech”.
“Every household is doubting the other household now,’ the counsel observed.
The PIL sought legal action against Rahul Gandhi for alleged “hate speech” resulting in outraging the modesty of women and showing “disrespect” to the Constitution.
The petition also sought Rahul Gandhi to issue an unconditional apology to the women of Hassan for issuing unconstitutional remarks and also it demanded that token costs on Rahul Gandhi for gross misuse of public post breach of public trust and Constitutional provisions.

BJP bypolls candidates list likely to be dominated by MBCs and Dalits

In a bid to counter Samajwadi Party’s PDA (Picchda Dalit Alpsankhyak) plank, the BJP is likely to field candidates belonging to Dalit and the most backward castes
By Puja Awasthi
The BJP’s candidate list for the forthcoming bypolls is likely to be dominated by Dalits and the most backward castes, to directly take on the Samajwadi Party’s PDA (Picchda Dalit Alpsankhyak) plank. This selection is likely to extend to general seats as well.
Party sources said the BJP will give just one ticket to a general class candidate. This is likely to be the Ghaziabad seat.
The district committees for the nine seats that are to go to the bypolls had given lists of 10 names each. These were whittled down to just three at a meeting held at the centre.
While the BJP is yet to announce the list of names, the party’s strategy is to show that it and not the Samajwadi Party is the party for backwards and Dalits—a plank that its rival has benefitted from in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
The Dalit ticket may also go to Sisamau (Knapur) too which is a general seat. The SP pick for this seat is a minority.
Katehri, Phulpur, Manjhwa, and Kundarkri are likely to go to candidates from the most Backward castes.
Besides this, Meerpur, which is a seat that should go to party ally Rashtriya Lok Dal, is likely to see a Jat BJP candidate.
The party is still smoothing out things with its other ally, the Nishad Party, which is insisting that it will fight the election on its own symbol, while the BJP wants it to fight on the lotus symbol. Sanjay Nishad who is in Delhi to discuss seat possibilities, insisted that party workers want to fight the elections on the party symbol. He further said that not doing so could lead to the loss of morale among them.
One seat which will be difficult for the BJP, both in terms of candidate selection and also support will be Kunadrki, which is a Muslim-dominated seat. Sismau has also been a seat that has always been with the SP and would be an uphill battle for the party.

Caste Discrimination: Doctor Claims Rental Homes Denied Due to Caste in Vizag City

In his post, the doctor recounted his frustrating experience while searching for a rental house near Aarilova Health City. He shared that while approaching potential landlords, many immediately asked about his caste during the first meeting. "When I mentioned SC, they said they won't give [the house]. That's OK. I’m used to this, and I’m glad they denied me right away. No time wasted," he said, expressing how normalized this form of rejection has become for him.
One incident particularly stood out when, after two days of discussion and a verbal agreement, the landlord asked for his Aadhar card to formalize the agreement. Upon seeing the doctor’s surname, the landlord inquired about his caste and then refused to rent the house. "He too denied [me] as expected, but at the last moment... Waste of time and money," the doctor lamented, explaining how they had already ordered furniture and a wooden Pooja place for the new house, all of which had to be canceled.
The doctor also noted that caste-based rejection has increased compared to his experience four years ago when he last searched for a rental property. "Interestingly, the number of people rejecting because of my caste has relatively increased," he added, highlighting the ongoing challenges lower-caste individuals face, even in urban areas.

The doctor concluded his post by clarifying that not all landlords rejected him based on caste. Some properties were simply out of his budget. "I searched for houses from Maddilapalem to Yendada, Visalakshi Nagar too... 99% of the available houses are out of my budget," he explained, adding that his budget is ₹10,000 for a 2BHK and ₹15,000 for a 3BHK.
Still, the issue of caste rejection remained a significant hurdle. The doctor sought advice on affordable housing options in Vizag, close to Arilova Health City, and questioned whether he should "mention [his] wife’s caste and hide [his] own" to secure a home. However, he voiced concern about the potential repercussions if the landlords later discovered the truth: "Will that cause any future problems if they ever find out that an SC guy lived in their house without them permitting?"

*_💐Resolve all Issues To Have Perfect Relationships🥢_*
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
🍅🍃A perfect relationship is not that you never get angry, upset or irritated with each other.
It’s how fast you resolve and bounce back to the normal.
🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃
🍅🍃Often after an argument or if we have been cheated, we feel hurt or let down, we choose to remain hurt or angry for hours, months, even years.
We feel our hurt is justified, it was their mistake, they need to make things right or sometimes we even feel things can never be the same again. Irrespective of what had happened it takes only 1 thought to get back to normal. The mind will ask questions, give it the answers.
🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃
🍅🍃(1) Why should I be doing it, it was their fault? Because my relationship is more important than my ego.
(2) Why so soon, let them at least realise their mistake? Because every passing moment is causing me and them pain and weakening our relationship.
(3) Will I be considered weak if I give in? Forgiving, forgetting and moving on is strength, let me give myself and them that strength.
(4) If I become normal, will they do the same? They may take their time, but if I get to normal, the process has begun and very soon they will get back to normal.
(5) Will I be taken for granted? If people can take my love and care for granted, it’s my fortune. I have given them a reason to believe that I always love them.
🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃
🍃🍅There can be many questions, but we have the answer to every question if we have decided that our relationship is our priority, and important their happiness and our own happiness matters to us more than what was right or wrong.
