๐Ÿ”ธ๐Ÿ”ถ๐ŸŒˆEven when the situation is not according to what is expected, there is contentment for the one who has faith in his own progress. Such a person will not just sit back waiting for things to change nor will he just curse his fate. Instead he'll do his best and use all his resources in bettering the situation.

*_Experience:_*

๐Ÿ”ถ๐Ÿ”ธ๐ŸŒˆThe understanding that all life's situations are a training for me, automatically keeps me content in all situations. There is naturally an experience of constant progress and a feeling of having gained something from all situations.

Dr Ambedkar statues,memorials in Tamilnadu.
.......

I did a state-wide, best-effort search and compiled a district-wise list of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar memorials / statues in Tamil Nadu based on government pages, local news, directories and town reports. This list is not guaranteed exhaustive (many small-town or village statues are not reported online), but it collects every documented memorial / statue I could verify. I’ve flagged entries with a citation where a reliable online source exists.

---

Best-effort list — Dr B.R. Ambedkar memorials / statues by district (Tamil Nadu)

> Legend: (M) = memorial / manimandapam / park; (S) = statue; (P) = projects / foundation stone / under construction; citations after each district entry.

Chennai (Chennai district)

Dr. Ambedkar Mani Manimandapam (Adyar / Mandhavelipakkam) — major memorial in Adyar. (M).

Kancheepuram / Chengalpattu

Kayarambedu / Chengalpattu — documented Ambedkar statue (local directory listing). (S).

Erode (Erode district)

Panneerselvam Park, Erode — life-size statue of Dr Ambedkar (unveiled Jan 26, 2022). (S).

Perambalur (Perambalur district)

Ambedkar statue at the old bus stand, Perambalur — reported statue; local news describes condition/maintenance. (S).

Thoothukudi / Tiruchendur (Thoothukudi district)

Tiruchendur Ambedkar Memorial Park / statue project — long-standing memorial park; foundation stone for a new Ambedkar statue laid Feb 17, 2024 (statue planned for Apr 14 inauguration). (M/P).

Salem (Salem district)

Othiyathur / Salem — Ambedkar statue (local listings / reports of community worship and events). (S).

---

Other districts — known / reported statues or memorials (sources limited; local listings or government/statements)

These are best-effort identifications — many come from local directories, news posts, government tallies of statues, or tourism listings. Where I couldn’t find an authoritative single article, I’ve noted it as reported / local.

Coimbatore district — multiple local Ambedkar statues reported in municipal parks and bus-stand areas (local news / photos). (S). (reported — local sources)

Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) district — Ambedkar statues in parts of Trichy and suburban towns reported (local news / municipal lists). (S). (reported)

Madurai district — town / ward-level Ambedkar statues reported and used for April 14 commemorations. (S). (reported)

Thanjavur district — local statues / memorials reported in smaller towns. (S). (reported)

Vellore district — local Ambedkar statues reported (directories / social posts). (S). (reported)

Cuddalore / Villupuram / Nagapattinam / Pudukkottai / Dindigul / Tirunelveli / Kanniyakumari / Ramanathapuram / Sivaganga / Virudhunagar / Kanyakumari / Krishnagiri / Dharmapuri / Ariyalur / Ramanathapuram — assorted local statues / small memorials reported in news briefs, local directories, or government lists of installed statues (state programme installing many statues in recent years). (S / M). (reported / needs confirmation)

State government/statements: The Tamil Nadu government released summary figures that the DMK administration installed dozens of statues and several memorial halls in recent years (many of those include Ambedkar statues across districts). This indicates additional installations beyond those individually reported.

---

Notes on completeness and accuracy

1. Best-effort & dynamic — many small statues and community memorials are created and maintained locally (panchayat / municipality) and do not always appear in national news or major websites. I collected entries from government memorial pages, regional newspapers and local listings — but smaller villages may be missing.

2. Recent state programme — the state has installed many statues across districts in the last 3–4 years; some Ambedkar statues were part of those installations (government tallies mention 63 statues and 11 memorials in a recent 4-year period).

3. Status varies — some sites are well-maintained memorials (e.g., Chennai Mani Mandapam), others are single statues at bus stands or parks that local news report as neglected (e.g., Perambalur).

---

What I can do next (I already collected the sources above)

I can immediately (right now, in this chat) do one of the following — pick any and I’ll produce it in this response (no waiting):

1. Create a spreadsheet (CSV or table) listing every documented memorial/statue I found, with columns: District | Town | Name (memorial/statue) | Type (M/S/P) | Source link | Status / notes.

2. Expand district coverage: run deeper searches district-by-district (I’ll pull municipal news, local newspapers and directories) and deliver a longer, more complete list with direct citations for each entry.

3. Map view: assemble the GPS coordinates / addresses for the most important memorials (Chennai, Erode, Perambalur, Tiruchendur, Salem) so you can visit them.

4. Printable guide: produce a printable PDF listing memorials by district with short descriptions and citations.

Tell me which of the four you want and I’ll produce it now. (If you want option 2 — “expand district coverage” — I’ll go district-by-district and add every cited statue I can find.)

If you can send a photo, and address location of Dr Ambedkar statues and memorial from your area, town in what's app 9444917060,I can include it in Google map.

IAS Officer's "Until A Brahmin Donates His Daughter" Remark Sparks Row

As the video spread across social media, Brahmin organisations strongly condemned senior IAS Santosh Verma's statement, calling it "indecent, casteist, and deeply insulting to Brahmin daughters."

IAS Officer's "Until A Brahmin Donates His Daughter" Remark Sparks Row

Bhopal:

The newly elected provincial president of the AJAKS, the association of the employees belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) category in Madhya Pradesh, Senior IAS officer Santosh Verma, has once again found himself at the centre of a controversy after a video of a remark made by him at the organisation's convention on Sunday surfaced online.

"Until a Brahmin donates his daughter to my son or has a relationship with him, reservations should continue," Verma said at an event held at Bhopal's Ambedkar Maidan.

As the video spread across social media, Brahmin organisations strongly condemned Verma's statement, calling it "indecent, casteist, and deeply insulting to Brahmin daughters."

"An FIR should be lodged immediately for comments made against Brahmin daughters. The IAS officer's remarks are indecent, objectionable, and an insult to the Brahmin community. If a criminal case is not filed soon, the Brahmin Samaj will launch a statewide protest," the state president of All India Brahmin Samaj, Pushpendra Mishra, said.

Mishra emphasised that the comments violate All India Services Conduct Rules, especially at a time when the government is actively promoting schemes such as Ladli Laxmi, Ladli Behna, and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, all aimed at protecting the dignity and welfare of girls and women.

This is not the first time Santosh Verma has been embroiled in controversy. His chequered past has resurfaced following the latest incident.

Verma, originally an officer of the Madhya Pradesh State Administrative Service, had previously hit headlines for allegedly forging court orders and faking signatures of a CBI judge to falsely claim relief in cases filed against him.

In Indore, he was arrested after a judge filed a complaint accusing him of forging two court orders related to a case of alleged criminal intimidation of a woman.

Verma allegedly used these forged documents to secure his promotion from the state cadre to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

He has also faced accusations in two exploitation cases, in which women alleged he promised marriage and later intimidated or deceived them.

New Delhi – On this Constitution Day, as India honors the document that defines its democratic soul, a remarkable story from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's legacy comes to light through the words of author Mangesh Dahiwale. In his new book, Becoming the People: Ambedkar, Constitutionalism and the Future of India, Dahiwale reveals Ambedkar's ambitious plan for an unfinished masterpiece: Constitution and Constitutionalism: Constitution of India – An Exposition of its Principles.

Drafted right after the Constitution's completion, this book was meant to be a systematic, philosophical, and comparative study of the basic principles underlying the Indian Constitution. Dahiwale describes it as a work that would explain not only what the Constitution says but why it says it, and how those principles relate to global constitutional traditions. Though Ambedkar could not complete it, what remains: a detailed book plan and a short but profound introduction, preserved in Writings & Speeches, Volume 13-offers invaluable insight into his vision.

Dahiwale emphasizes that these fragments are striking in their clarity. They show Ambedkar wanted the Constitution studied not as a mere collection of Articles but as a coherent moral and political philosophy---a democratic architecture grounded in liberty, equality, fraternity, and the rule of law.

As Dahiwale notes, Ambedkar insisted that Articles are secondary; principles are primary. His proposed book would first articulate the principles of democracy, federalism, and separation of powers, before turning to the organs of the State, the relations between the Union and the States, and finally the rights of citizens. Only after grasping these principles, Ambedkar believed, could anyone truly understand the meaning, purpose, and structure of the Indian constitutional order.

Ambedkar's Detailed Book Plan: A Roadmap to Constitutional Principles

Dahiwale shares the exact outline of Ambedkar's proposed book, as preserved in his writings:

CONSTITUTION AND CONSTITUTIONALISM THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA AN EXPOSITION OF ITS PRINCIPLES

Introduction: The Beginnings and the Growth of the Constitution.

PART I – Principles Underlying the Constitutional System

    1. The Principle of Democracy

    2. The Principle of Federalism

    3. The Principle of Separation of Powers

PART II – The Organs of the State 4. The Legislature 5. The Executive 6. The Judiciary.

Pondicherry – In a bold act of inter-campus solidarity against institutional casteism, the Bahujan Students Front (BSF) at Pondicherry University has issued a scathing statement denouncing the expulsion of Basant Kumar Kannaujiya, the Dalit PhD scholar from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) in Lucknow.

The declaration, circulated widely on social media and among student networks, accuses BBAU's administration of enforcing "Manu's laws" under the guise of discipline in an institution named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. BSF stands "firmly with Kannaujiya," portraying his ouster as punishment for his unyielding Ambedkarite advocacy and refusal to "bend" as a first-generation Dalit scholar, vowing to prevent him from joining the tragic roster of Bahujan lives lost to campus bigotry.

    The unjust expulsion

The unfolding crisis at BBAU traces back to September 17, when campus tensions over student welfare boiled over into unrest, culminating in an inquiry that singled out Kannaujiya, a History PhD candidate, as the ringleader of alleged mob instigation, vandalism, and a breach into the Vice Chancellor's office. Despite his rebuttal framing the events as non-violent dialogue with officials and highlighting his decade-plus of peaceful Bahujan rights activism since 2012, the Disciplinary Committee relied on witness accounts, and a history of 14 prior misconduct notices to endorse expulsion.

Vice Chancellor Raj Kumar Mittal finalized the order around November 19, effectively banning Kannaujiya from the premises and future enrollment. In defiance, he initiated a constitutional dharna outside the administrative building, now in its second week as of November 27, where he persists in calling for justice, educational equity, and an end to caste-based harassment. The standoff has escalated with the university issuing warnings to supporters, for joining the sit-in, alongside directives to department heads to curb participation, tactics Kannaujiya labels as "mental torture" to mute dissent.
