Supreme Court verdict on SC status after conversion:
The Supreme Court ruled that people who convert to religions other than Hinduism, Sikhism, or Buddhism cannot claim Scheduled Caste benefits. The judgment came in a case from Andhra Pradesh involving a converted pastor from the Madiga community.
April celebrated as Dalit History Month by Ambedkarite groups across India and globally with lectures, rallies, and cultural events.

धर्म परिवर्तन और SC दर्जा पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला:
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति हिंदू, सिख या बौद्ध धर्म के अलावा किसी अन्य धर्म में परिवर्तित हो जाता है तो वह अनुसूचित जाति (SC) के लाभ नहीं ले सकता।
