स्याना में किसानों का विरोध प्रदर्शन, लेखाकार पर गंभीर आरोप: दलित महिला के साथ अभद्रता और अवैध वसूली के खिलाफ अनिश्चितकालीन धरना प्रदर्शन
सोमवार को भारतीय किसान यूनियन (भानु) के राज्य उपाध्यक्ष सुनील सिंह के नेतृत्व में दर्जनों किसानों ने बुलंदशहर के स्याना में तहसील परिसर में जोरदार विरोध प्रदर्शन किया।
उन्होंने नारे लगाए और तहसील में तैनात एक क्लर्क के खिलाफ गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए अनिश्चितकालीन धरना शुरू कर दिया।
किसानों का आरोप है कि क्लर्क ने रुखी गांव में एक दलित महिला के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया। इसके अलावा, उस पर गांव के दर्जनों किसानों की जमीनों पर अवैध कब्जा करने और उनसे रोजाना अवैध वसूली करने का भी आरोप है। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि क्लर्क अपने आधिकारिक कर्तव्यों में लापरवाही बरत रहा है।
मीडिया से बात करते हुए भारतीय किसान यूनियन (भानु) के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष सुनील सिंह ने कहा, “यह लेखाकार भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त है। वह महिलाओं का अपमान कर रहा है और गरीब किसानों की जमीनों पर अतिक्रमण कर रहा है। हमारा अनिश्चितकालीन धरना तब तक जारी रहेगा जब तक इस लेखाकार का तत्काल तबादला नहीं हो जाता और उसके खिलाफ मामला दर्ज करके सख्त कार्रवाई नहीं की जाती।”
प्रदर्शनकारी किसानों ने तहसील परिसर में प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारे लगाए। किसान नेताओं ने प्रशासन से मामले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच कराने, दोषी लेखाकार के खिलाफ विभागीय कार्रवाई करने और पीड़ित को न्याय दिलाने की मांग की। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि उनकी मांगें जल्द पूरी नहीं हुईं, तो आंदोलन को और तेज किया जाएगा और जिला मुख्यालय पर प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा।

Farmers protest in Syana, serious allegations against accountant: Indefinite sit-in protest against indecency and illegal extortion of Dalit woman
On Monday, dozens of farmers, led by State Vice President of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu), Sunil Singh, staged a strong protest at the tehsil premises in Syana, Bulandshahr.
They raised slogans and launched an indefinite sit-in, leveling serious allegations against a clerk posted at the tehsil.
The farmers allege that the clerk misbehaved with a Dalit woman in Rukhi village. Furthermore, he is accused of illegally occupying the lands of dozens of farmers in the village and making illegal extortions from them on a daily basis. The protesters also alleged that the clerk is negligent in his official duties.
Speaking to the media, State Vice President of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu), Sunil Singh, said, “This accountant is involved in corruption. He is disrespecting women and encroaching on the lands of poor farmers. Our indefinite sit-in will continue until this accountant is immediately transferred and a case is filed against him and strict action is taken.”
The protesting farmers raised slogans against the administration in the tehsil premises. Farmer leaders demanded that the administration conduct a high-level investigation into the matter, take departmental action against the guilty accountant, and provide justice to the victim. They warned that if their demands were not met soon, the agitation would be intensified and a demonstration would be held at the district headquarters.

திங்களன்று, பாரதிய கிசான் யூனியன் (பானு) மாநில துணைத் தலைவர் சுனில் சிங் தலைமையில், டஜன் கணக்கான விவசாயிகள் புலந்தஷார் மாவட்டம், சியானாவில் உள்ள தாலுகா வளாகத்தில் கடும் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.
தாலுக்காவில் பணியில் இருந்த ஒரு எழுத்தர் மீது கடுமையான குற்றச்சாட்டுகளை முன்வைத்து, அவர்கள் முழக்கங்களை எழுப்பி காலவரையற்ற உள்ளிருப்புப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.
ரூகி கிராமத்தில் எழுத்தர் ஒருவர் தலித் பெண்ணிடம் தவறாக நடந்து கொண்டதாக விவசாயிகள் குற்றம் சாட்டுகின்றனர். மேலும், அவர் அக்கிராமத்தில் உள்ள பல விவசாயிகளின் நிலங்களை சட்டவிரோதமாக ஆக்கிரமித்து, அவர்களிடம் இருந்து தினசரி சட்டவிரோதமாக பணம் பறித்து வருவதாகவும் குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. எழுத்தர் தனது அலுவல் பணிகளில் அலட்சியமாக இருப்பதாகவும் போராட்டக்காரர்கள் குற்றம் சாட்டினர்.
ஊடகங்களிடம் பேசிய பாரதிய கிசான் யூனியன் (பானு) மாநில துணைத் தலைவர் சுனில் சிங், “இந்தக் கணக்காளர் ஊழலில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளார். அவர் பெண்களை அவமதிப்பதுடன், ஏழை விவசாயிகளின் நிலங்களையும் ஆக்கிரமித்து வருகிறார். இந்தக் கணக்காளர் உடனடியாக இடமாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டு, அவர் மீது வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு, கடுமையான நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் வரை எங்களின் காலவரையற்ற உள்ளிருப்புப் போராட்டம் தொடரும்” என்று கூறினார்.
போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்ட விவசாயிகள் தாலுகா வளாகத்தில் நிர்வாகத்திற்கு எதிராக முழக்கங்களை எழுப்பினர். இவ்விவகாரம் குறித்து உயர் மட்ட விசாரணை நடத்த வேண்டும், குற்றவாளியான கணக்காளர் மீது துறை ரீதியான நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும், பாதிக்கப்பட்டவருக்கு நீதி வழங்க வேண்டும் என விவசாயத் தலைவர்கள் நிர்வாகத்திடம் கோரிக்கை விடுத்தனர். தங்களது கோரிக்கைகள் விரைவில் நிறைவேற்றப்படாவிட்டால், போராட்டம் தீவிரப்படுத்தப்படும் என்றும், மாவட்டத் தலைமையகத்தில் ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தப்படும் என்றும் அவர்கள் எச்சரித்தனர்.

Dalit Youth Assaulted for Drinking Water From Public Pot in Rajasthan; FIR Registered After Court Order
Police in Rajasthan’s Balotra district have registered an FIR against a man accused of assaulting and abusing a Dalit youth with casteist slurs after he allegedly drank water from a public earthen pot outside a grocery shop.
The case was registered at Gida Police Station following directions from an SC/ST court after the complainant alleged that police had failed to act on his earlier complaints.
Victim alleges assault after drinking water
According to the FIR, the incident took place on June 11 at around 7 pm near a bus stand in Khokhsar village under the Gida police station area.
The complainant alleged that he was waiting for a bus to Chaba when, due to the heat, he drank water from a public earthen pot kept outside the grocery shop of the accused, identified as Rajuram Nai.
He claimed the accused became angry, allegedly abused him using caste-based slurs and demanded money for drinking the water.
When the complainant said he had no money, the accused allegedly slapped and punched him. The assault stopped only after local residents intervened, according to the complaint.
The complainant further alleged that the accused later threatened to break his arms and legs and kill him if he pursued any action.
Police registered case after court order
The complainant said he reported the incident at Gida Police Station the following day and later sent a written complaint to the Balotra Superintendent of Police. However, alleging that no action was taken, he approached the SC/ST court.
Following the court’s directions, Gida Police registered an FIR against the accused.
Investigation underway
Police said the case has been registered under Sections 115(2) and 126(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

ராஜஸ்தானின் பலோத்ரா மாவட்டத்தில், மளிகைக் கடைக்கு வெளியே இருந்த பொது மண் பானையில் இருந்து தலித் இளைஞர் ஒருவர் தண்ணீர் குடித்ததாகக் கூறப்பட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து, அவரைத் தாக்கி, சாதிய வசவுகளால் திட்டியதாகக் குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்ட நபர் மீது போலீசார் முதல் தகவல் அறிக்கை (FIR) பதிவு செய்துள்ளனர்.
தனது முந்தைய புகார்கள் மீது காவல்துறை நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கத் தவறிவிட்டதாகப் புகார்தாரர் குற்றம் சாட்டியதை அடுத்து, பட்டியல் சாதியினர்/பழங்குடியினர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் உத்தரவின் பேரில் கீடா காவல் நிலையத்தில் இந்த வழக்கு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது.
தண்ணீர் குடித்த பிறகு தாக்கப்பட்டதாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர் குற்றம் சாட்டுகிறார்.
முதல் தகவல் அறிக்கையின்படி, இந்தச் சம்பவம் ஜூன் 11 அன்று மாலை சுமார் 7 மணியளவில், கீடா காவல் நிலையப் பகுதிக்குட்பட்ட கோக்சர் கிராமத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு பேருந்து நிலையம் அருகே நிகழ்ந்துள்ளது.
புகார்தாரர், தான் சாபாவிற்குச் செல்வதற்காகப் பேருந்திற்காகக் காத்திருந்தபோது, கடும் வெயில் காரணமாக, ராஜுராம் நாய் என அடையாளம் காணப்பட்ட குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவரின் மளிகைக் கடைக்கு வெளியே வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த ஒரு பொதுவான மண் பானையில் இருந்து தண்ணீர் குடித்ததாகக் குற்றம் சாட்டினார்.
குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர் கோபமடைந்து, சாதி ரீதியான இழிசொற்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி தன்னைத் திட்டியதாகவும், தண்ணீர் குடிப்பதற்குப் பணம் கேட்டதாகவும் அவர் கூறினார்.
புகார்தாரர் தன்னிடம் பணம் இல்லை என்று கூறியபோது, குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர் அவரை அறைந்து குத்தியதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. உள்ளூர்வாசிகள் தலையிட்ட பின்னரே தாக்குதல் நின்றதாக புகாரில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
புகார்தாரர் மேலும் கூறுகையில், தான் எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்காவிட்டால், தனது கைகளையும் கால்களையும் உடைத்துவிடுவதாகவும், தன்னைக் கொன்றுவிடுவதாகவும் குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர் பின்னர் மிரட்டியதாகக் குற்றம் சாட்டினார்.
நீதிமன்ற உத்தரவுக்குப் பிறகு காவல்துறை வழக்கு பதிவு செய்தது.
புகார்தாரர், மறுநாள் கீடா காவல் நிலையத்தில் சம்பவம் குறித்துப் புகார் அளித்ததாகவும், பின்னர் பலோத்ரா காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளருக்கு எழுத்துப்பூர்வமாகப் புகார் அனுப்பியதாகவும் கூறினார். இருப்பினும், எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்கப்படவில்லை என்று குற்றம் சாட்டி, அவர் பட்டியல் சாதியினர்/பழங்குடியினர் நீதிமன்றத்தை அணுகினார்.
நீதிமன்றத்தின் வழிகாட்டுதல்களைப் பின்பற்றி, கீடா போலீசார் குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்டவர் மீது முதல் தகவல் அறிக்கையைப் பதிவு செய்தனர்.
விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது
பாரதிய நியாய சம்ஹிதா (பிஎன்எஸ்) பிரிவு 115(2) மற்றும் 126(2) ஆகியவற்றின் கீழும், பட்டியல் சாதியினர் மற்றும் பட்டியல் பழங்குடியினர் (வன்கொடுமைத் தடுப்பு) சட்டத்தின் தொடர்புடைய விதிகளின் கீழும் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக காவல்துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Scheduled Caste status ends on conversion from Hinduism: Supreme Court upholds order
The Supreme Court has dismissed a review petition against its ruling on caste status after conversion. The order keeps in force the immediate loss of Scheduled Caste benefits for converts outside Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism.
A bench of Justices Prashant Kumar Mishra and Manmohan said there was no reason to revisit the earlier verdict. In its July 15 order, the court said: "Application seeking oral hearing of the review petition is rejected. We have gone through the review petition and perused the judgment dated March 24, 2026, which has been sought to be reviewed. There is no error apparent on the record. The Review Petition is, accordingly, dismissed."
In its March 24 judgment, the top court had upheld an Andhra Pradesh High Court order which said that a person belonging to a Scheduled Caste community loses Scheduled Caste status "immediately and completely" on converting to Christianity. The Supreme Court had held that the loss of SC status takes effect.
RPI Opposes Maharashtra SC/ST Sub-Categorisation Proposal, Warns Of Statewide Agitation
The memorandum was submitted following a party meeting held under the guidance of RPI national president Ramdas Athawale, Konkan president Prakash More and Raigad district president Narendra Gaikwad. The delegation was led by Panvel city president Nilesh Sonawane.
The Republican Party of India (RPI) on Monday submitted a memorandum to the Panvel Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and Tehsildar opposing the Maharashtra government's proposed sub-categorisation of the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) reservation categories, alleging that the move is unconstitutional and would divide the backward communities.
The memorandum was submitted following a party meeting held under the guidance of RPI national president Ramdas Athawale, Konkan president Prakash More and Raigad district president Narendra Gaikwad. The delegation was led by Panvel city president Nilesh Sonawane.
The party has warned that if the proposed policy is not withdrawn immediately, it will launch a statewide constitutional agitation across Maharastra.
